At BMG we support local community projects
At BMG we are proud of our history of supporting local community projects. Each year BMG receives numerous requests for monetary assistance for worthwhile causes.
Over the years we have maintained strong support for Brave Hearts on the Murray. A cancer support group, facilitated by local breast care nurse Jenny Black, which undertakes projects to raise money to buy wigs for the wig library to help support cancer patients.
We also provide support for the Murray Valley Centre. The Murray Valley Centre is dedicated to the provision of high quality professional services for people with disabilities, to enable them to reach their full potential.
BMG team members also donate their time to assist community organisations, including:
- Natalie Owens – Treasurer for the Wodonga Chamber of Commerce
- Stephen Mamouney – heads up the organising committee for the Albury Wodonga Big Splash
- Steven Beck – Treasurer for the Murray Magpies Football Club

Big Splash supporters Karin Willcox, Fiona Tutthill, Stephen Mamouney and Annette Baker are aiming for their successful fund-raiser for headspace to become an annual event.
