‘Fairness, Opportunity and Security’ was the catchphrase of the 2017-18 Federal Budget this year.

The proposed measures ranged from addressing supply and demand in the housing market, future changes to the Medicare Levy to fund the National Disability Insurance Scheme, a major banking levy, some social security measures, and higher education system reforms to name a few.
